I think many would be down for this, though most are playin in 1.00 settings as of the last while. I personally have had a problem finding time to play anything, though hopefully others might take up this offer. If you see enough in game... we have no leadrers and run with spur of the moment wars as well, feel free to set it up then and there  |

JuNN are some baddddd motherf*ckers. Very skilled. When I was into HOV in winter '04, I regularly got my ass handed to me by JuNN's and the Barbarian whorde.

I too have played with both those clans and I had to play on top of my game every time... They are skilled, yes. It could be good fun though!

Wow, I guess it'd be Kharn vs. all of JuNN by himself...haha. My HoV won't install, and it f*cks up my 1.01, so I'd rather have one than both screwed up. I'll go jump on the JuNN forums and see if we can move this match to 1.01.

Well I have a copy but the only time I ever install it is when I'm either testing a creation of mine or when I get back into the mood to play Co-Op. I love Co-Op, I would like to find a good enough server to run all the =iNi= Members to play it on a set date. We would crush that sh!t!! hahaha, anyway, just a dream of mine, if it happens, thats whats up, otherwise, fluck it...I never have bothered to try and set it up anyway.  As far as a clan war involving myself in Halls of Valhalla, thats a dream that will never come true, I hate HOV gameplay (the movements of the playermodels, and the block throws feature)... I started playing Rune when it was fresh, meaning v1.00-1.01, I can't convert to that crazy sh!t after 2 1/2 years of 1.00. LOL! Well, good luck with the war! Pc for now... |

I think most of our members feel a bit as squall has mentioned, though just a bit quieter about it. I figure, if you see =iNi=Members in HOV it is Dis or Jes. I know Jes liked HOV, and was playin it a bit more than 1.00. Though all members have HOV... It was a welcomed download, many feel as squall mentioned... The gameplay feels completely dif. and it is a bit less realistic than the 1.00 version of Rune. The blocking of the weapons is a joke if you really think about a heavy hammer being knocked away by a tiny weapon(modifiable through 1.08). If those settings were modified more realistic it would'a helped. Also the speed of the gameplay is like a bunch of sprinters, that never tire out.
Some of us do pop in and out of HOV, though sinse servers in 1.00 are playin AR(Thank you Solo clan!)... many just enjoy it here, at the 1.00 default settings.
Retro is coo for HOV, though many HOV locals seemed to talk crap to the 1.00 players, as we threw weapons like wild fire... with faces as targets.
This is why I mellowed out on HOV. Many did not want us there, and most 1.00 is not looking for a battle axe ONLY warefare. We enjoy the reality of the movements,as well as the power of each hit ratio with weaponry in the 1.00 gameplay.
Anyhow...
I would love to see more =iNi= support HOV, as it is still Rune, though =iNi= is full of open minds of our own... with open opinions. More power to the 1.00 LOVE, not in a competion manner with hov players, more with the game changes(fixed by 'Retro' in 1.08). Rune 1.00build was created 'almost' perfect. If it wasn't for the lag it would be the perfect game.
HOV has great maps, textures, as well as players, though we generally look for a dif. style of gameplay... realistic, not feeling like a video game that was coded... more like the realistic movement of normal life.

I agree with all you said Deliman, just wanted to add something...you said... not in a competion manner with hov players, more with the game changes Now I also agree that there is no competition aimed at HOV players, just the gameplay or the feel of the new coding in other words... However, alot of HOV players (primarily clan leaders), though I wont say names, bash 1.00 players, saying that they are scared of HOV...when in fact we arent scared, we just dont like it... But what I wanted to say was this...to the HOV players that think we can't hold a flame to them in HOV...come over to v1.01 one day, then mabye we will see how things go...I think mabye that might change some of those trash talkers opinion of things... Before I close, I just want to add, that wasn't me trying to say they can only game good in HOV, only saying that if they came to understand how we play over in the "origional" version, they might understand why we don't much enjoy HOV style.. Though its not hard to figure out this much... Dedicated 1.00 players "started playing" in 1.00.. Dedicated HOV players "started playing" in HOV... Therefore, you do the math! heh... |

Actually squall, since there's been a HUGE resurgence of HoV and mainly Euro players switching back to 1.01 a few nights out of the week for entertainment. And what I've noticed is that some of the best HoV players started out on 1.00 just like us, but switched to HOV as SOON as it came out, unlike us slow asses, who started playing HoV after it was a year old or older.
But I still don't like it...HoV feels 'uncomfortable', that's all there is too it. Plus some Euro guys are really cool, and some are really strange and wierd. It's just odd. I did talk to ][JuNN][ Tweaked, and he said he'd ask the clan if they'd switch the battle to maybe 1.01.
