I understand what to do in the RuneI.ini to get acces to the sarks. Can the same be done for monsters (ie goblins)
I attempted this, by simply copying the line of text for a regular character, and then changing the actuall object to "goblin" and of course the name to "goblin"
When I go to select my character, The goblin is there! I can select it, turn it (hmm i didn't check the change animantion tho...) and start a server using it. however, once the level loads and the game starts I am left not with a goblin but with the default leather ragnar.
What can be done? Can I set the default (backup) .ini from leather ragnar to goblin? Are there some actions/commands/ abilities that the goblin has that regular characters don't (like the flip) which make it unusable by players? Or might the easiest way around this be to make a add on model like many people have done for UT (IE a batman or superman model, the jarhead model, the warhammer40k models)

I think because the goblins have a different "skeleton" it means that you can't be a goblin through some kind of command. I know that you can shuffle around like a zombie though, if you transfer the zombie's anims to your player's weapon's Anims, they have a weird hunchback thang goin'. This would have to be a coding construction job, like the snowbeast player someone made recently(RuneGame.com forums).

Ah. Thanx leps. I figured someone had seen this grand oppurtunity and made a seperate character file (like the snowbeast.) Yeah I looked at the anims before, using the zombie anims make ya look like yer roller blading lol ( jet set rune?) ah well guess I just gotta figure out how to creat skins mods and whotnots.

I found the snowbeast model. I also found a goblin model (yay, jsut what I was lookin fer.) I found the goblin at the secretlabs site.. it's liek www.secretlabs.net or somethin but I'm not sure. Anywhos I think that's jsut gonna be the answer to using other things for our characters - make a model.

i tried that goblin skin months ago but it didnt work on my mac? did it on yours?
i just turned to leather ragnar on my server so i deleted that skin afterwards
i always wanted to play as a dwarf löike wardwarfc (that one looks realy cool)
but i havent figured out how to yet

i tried to turn a ragnar skin with dwarfskeleton to a dwarf player but it didnt work with the textures karigard tried to get the rune hov skins like the centurion working on rune 1.00 too but they lost their anims if you used them on the server... just running around and fighting with no anims... was kinda funny... at the moment he works on a converting of the ar mod of hov to get working on 1.00 so you could use ar maps then too i tested it on his server today and it worked fine till i entered the fighting arena... in the weapon chamber i could do everything, but as i entered the arena i got stuck and couldnt move... that was strange... would be cool if he fixes it  the arena mod of hov rules... its cool for 1on1 fights
