Some Server Admin Help??

Hey everyone!

My friend and I have started a dedicated server recently, and so far it's been pretty good! Kharn and some of his clannies have showed up a few times, and RabbitZ/[accurate]/god knows what else likes our server....but I have some questions! Since I am the admin, and I only know so little about the true power of an admin....I was wondering how to do a few things.

#1. CRITTERS KICKER! How do you get this thing to work?? lol. I put the serverpackages=critterkicker in the rune.ini file but it still doesn't work =/. I put the mod on when we start the server, and when I type "listplayers" it says "unrecognized command"...what's up with that? =/.

#2. List of Admin commands! Where can I find this?? People out there like Tony Montana I find know things like "admin set [weapon] physics phys_falling" I mean...where did he find THAT out? I'd like to expand my knowledge of admin commands and such, if you know of a place to get the commands, please tell me.

#3. Any important server mods that I would need to protect myself from server crashers and stuff like that...where can I get em, and what do they do?

I would appreciate any help here, since I am still pretty much a noob at the admin side of Rune.

ok, lets see if I can help ya

for the critter kickers thing, you need to type mutate before hand
so its Mutate listplayers, and mutate login ID#:*Password*, and Mutate Stop ID#, mutate go ID# etc.

You can check lepy's admin page, that started me off when I wanted to know, and don't just read it like: ok, if I type all this in, this happens. He has like 100+ admin commands and alot of them are embedded into his large command lines. Also, because you're a PC user (*evil glare of death*) you get the command editactor actorclass=*classname*, which I believe works like " Editactor actorclass=handaxe " which should give you a list of properties or what not for that object. Also the get command is very useful, though you need to know the commands already to use it, so its not THAT useful.

you should get server guard (I forgot where I got it) which I think has suicide hotline and LLOD type defences. Otherwise get Suicide Hotline (maybe) and Last Line Of Defence (definately)

i wonder sumthing too... i know how to log as an admin in a server (of course) , but i dont know how to give up admin responsabilities... someone could tell meh?

Hey, stopped into your server (I have the flu...a nice excuse for a game!) and it was great. Nice Canadian ping. Anyway, you can get server guard here:
www.hrw.vze.com In the downloads I think. If you have a Mac it doesn't work....use the iNi anti-crash mod. But then I think I'm the only one with a MAc...oh yah Saint Artist is the other one LOL.

LOOOL...It's funny with the Mac: most comuter-based art like music, graphics, animation etc. is done on Macs except games. Most. I know the people that work in recording studios or animation houses like Disney: it's toatally all Mac-based. If I work on a soundtrack for a t.v. piece or movie (which I do), then when I walk into an office or studio I'm looking at Macs everywhere, and they expect Mac-compatible goods. I guess with gaming the $ is where the platform that most people have is, and that's the pc. Otherwise it makes no sense fiscally to release the big games as Mac...sigh. Reality.

whats worse is that because of all the piracy going on in macs, soon companies will stop porting to macs cause it mean $ loss
