well....yes and no...
in the editor there is no straight path cut to the room to look at it, i mean a flat wall that reflects what going on wherever the camera is placed...

You could like...make a door with a teleporter in it and make the surface of the door Fake Backdrop. Then on the other side of the teleporter (where you come out) you could put a skyzoneinfo behind the teleporter and aim it to where you want to look. I dont know how well it will work with seeing actors through it (for non-admins at least)...and everything will be alot bigger than "life size"
Thats the only way i can think of though...I've never seen anything like that

do you mean like in elemental arena?
where you see a hologramm of the arena you can teleport in?
its a easy thingy:
make a screenshot of the arena/room and import it as texture then you put that texture on a light and set the light properties the following: 1) advanced: bhidden false 2) display: style: sty_translucent texture: your texture
so the light will get the texture of your room and it will be transparent like a holo and you can walk around and you see it always 3d
then you place at the same point your teleporter and you can walk in the holo to get to that kind of room
very simple and effect full
btw: i will use that in my next map too... it will be kinda like a space map with lots of holos

i create on this way the suns and moons on my map...
just giving a light a sun/moon texture making it translucent and visible for the game and giving it a scaleglow to make it shine bright
thats more tricky as the normal simple moon/sun made of a simple sheet.. those sheet moons always look 2d and not 3d (most if you walk to the side of the moon...)
