my files went corrupt =/ All I have is one version now of PaintShopPro. Potoshop is more highly skilled and profesional than the PaintShop program, so I recomend that if you really want to dig into painting... like skinning. Look for Photoshop 7.0 or higher. The older versions are a bit weak. Oops wrong sign in... LoL This was Del if you didn't know

It is because they are all simplified(.PCX) format. After an image is in PCX format... the color depth is decreased, creating a smaller color pallet to load.
The fix is simple after you know it... it goes as follows:
*open the art program *load the skin flat---(textured image) *go to top menu bar to "Color" *go to lower of the drop down in the "Color" menu... --locate the "Increase Color Depth" --set it to 16 million colors(24 bit)
this will now load a full range of color for the image. Hope this helps a bit. Pc Del
