I posted this on the dirty boards to help someone out, and I figured I'd post it here too.

Alright, so it's 9am and I have nothing better to do, so here's a tutorial.
Pictures? god dammit alright...
In what follows, I will explain the process of exporting textures from a .utx and importing them into my own package. I'll throw in how to import them into MyLevel as well.
For the sake of clarity, I'll explain further. I am going to export the texture Brick_07 from the ADFuthark package from HOV, and import it to my own package, which I'll call suckafoo. In step 4a I will explain how to save the texture into MyLevel
In case you don't know what MyLevel is, let me go ahead and explain that too. Think of MyLevel as your map file. You import a texture to MyLevel when you want it included in the map file itself, instead of a seperate texture file. You do this with the map's Screenshot, as well, if this is ringing any bells. Same concept here, except you actually use it as a texture, instead of the screenshot.
"How do I know when to use which?" you might ask. It's file size really. If you only have one or two textures you're importing, go ahead and save them to MyLevel. If there's a whole lot, like I used with Misadventure, you'll probably want to make a seperate package. Unless you want your map file to be 3mb, that is...
Alright, enough talk, more pictures, right? Tutorial follows. Excuse my horrible handwriting with the mouse. I suck at that.
Step 1: Load the texture file you want. I'm going to use ADFuthark from HOV for my example.

Step 2: Select the texture you want (I'm going to use Brick_07), then click Export. Set the filename as anything (I used the textures title just for organization's sake) then click Save.

Step 3: Open your map! I guess you could have had it open this entire time, but oh well. Then click Import, select the file you saved last step, then click Open.

Step 4: This window will pop up. Set the package name to whatever you want (mine is suckafoo). Then uncheck Generate Mipmaps, and click Ok. Be very, very careful that you don't save your texture into any other package, for instance Hell, or you will get a version mismatch on Hell.utx with EVERY other server, and you'll have to replace it.

Step 4a: This is to save it in MyLevel. All you have to do is type MyLevel in the package box, uncheck Generate Mipmaps, and click Ok. Then save your map. Skip step 5 if you did this.

Step 5: Now your package with the imported texture should open up in the texture browser. Nowall that's left to do is save. You're done.

If you want to import more textures into the same package, just follow the same process, and enter the same package name in step 4, then save the package again.
