Help! Server only showing in some people's list!

Apologies if this has been asked before, I couldn't find anything about it when searching. Also, sorry if this isn't the right place to ask, but it seems like an active forum with knowledgeable people, so I'll give it a shot

We recently got our server working perfectly again - there were some problems with lagspikes, so it hasn't been much used - and now that everything is OK again we wanna start using it for public play too.

The problem is that the server isn't showing up in everyone's serverlist in UT! In our clan, about 60% of the members see it, the rest don't. It is not country specific, as people from all across Europe has the same problem.
Strange thing is; for me it's not showing in UT, but if I use the All-Seeing Eye, I see it at once

Anyone ever came across this? And even better: does anyone know a solution?

Hmmm, I'm obviously not that big on LANs and Networking and Server problems. I'd say something like.. Do you have a F-Wall? I had that probelm once. I disabled the fire wall, But our LAN has a built in firewall. So, It didn't matter, maybe its your problem. Hope this helps ;D

for UT? bah, i hate that, theres like 2000 different servers, of course ur not gonna find ur own...

i had this problem with me and my friends, u know what i did? stopped playing UT and moved into rune.

I have never heard of only some ppl being able to see a server. With Rune it seems as though all can see it or if you have a problem, then none can see it.
I had some problems when I installed a router modem, I had to forward on 5 ports through the router preferences.

You could try asking at the server section of the Runegame.com forums, It is all Rune, but if you ask nicely they should lend a hand.
They know heaps about networking .. I do not ..lol

Hmm thanks for your help, I'll ask the serveradmin to look at the firewall setup.

I tried this the hard way, added the server to my favorites, but the description doesn't update, and it pings as 9999. However, when I click on it, I can see the map that's being played, and the players that's on it!?

Strange stuff...
I'll give the Rune-forums a shot, thanks for the tip
