LLOOLLL Lol...Bro if I did not want everyone to feel free asking questions, I would not have put this section here ;D...ask away buddy!
Here you are my friend... this should explain how to find the textures, then how to export them from the game. Now 1 thing ... the very 1st part of skinning is...:
**1st ***pick a default player model to paint a skin for...
EX: darkviking/trialpit/conrack/elder/etc...
after you decide what playermodel you will paint, find the textures for the playermodel you will be skinning.
*
Getting the Textures out of the Editor 1st** Load RuneEd and go to "Textures."
** Scroll down to "Players."
** Select the texture(s) you wish to export and click "Export" at the bottom rt.
(these textures matching the playermodel you will be painting)
In this tutorial I used my all time favorite model..."DarkViking"
therefor I exported the TextureFlats from the DarkViking/Edited them to my liking & went on to next skin tutorial page.
**To Export textures
EX: DarkViking uses these...
head texture
body / torso texture
arm&leg texture
hair texture
now there is also blood textures for each skin although you don't need to export them. After you paint these flats as you like...simply add blood to each and name it same name with a "b" at the end for blood
EX: DelHead (head texture)
DelHeadB (Bloody head texture)
After you export these files they will be send to a folder in your Rune folder
in your Rune/Textures folder ~~~~All exports are .pcx form~~~~
Now edit them in your available art program then return for this next step...
When You return after editing all textures when you are saving those painted flats...Save all your TextureFlats as .BMP or BMP/RLE ---256 color
