Ok...all teleporters have the properties to change many settings such as 1 way..this might be part of the problem. You must do a teleporter simply... not many things at all to do to a teleporter.
This is what you do to them...if this is what you did then it is an error in the engine probably waiting for a possible ugrade/install.
after you place 1 teleporter at point A & point B, simply open the properties for each of them. Setting the URL of the teleporter to the opposite one. That is it.
Although my personal feel is that if you use the same teleporter for both paths. you leave more room for teleporting smushness
. Teleporters are great in single player. In multiplayer, if it is in an area of lower traffic, this will help the overlapping of teleports.
NOTE: you can set a link of events like this...EX:
dispatcher"or"zonetrigger(trigger the Teleporter)
teleporter(set to trigger as some1 enters the zone---
zonetriggered--not playerproximety)
Also the raised/elevated floor...
do you mean a ramp type thing? Or an outdoor flooring to look realistic?
RAMP-
EX:
use the cube tool for a ramp. Placing it itno the floor and rotate it (in the right side grids) until it fits the area you want.
KEY TRICK: there is a little dot at each point of the cube brush. . .
As you get the cube in the location you want the ramp, (rightclick) on the corner of the cube. This will create it to "SnapToGrid"!
then it will fit flush with the natural 2nd level, rather than have that tiny step you see in most newer mappers maps.
After you get it in place you will notice that a huge chunck of it is unerground, while the part you want is above ground.To cut this piece to fit as a ramp(cutting off the bottom wasted portion) simply get it in place and hit the intersect tool located in the (upperLeftColumn)--3rd tool down on right edge of 'Left'colum.
The you should only see the part left is that in the room as the ramp .
