ok, so i finally got my editor to work, and ive been playing with the rune ed for a while...and ive made this cool map, it works when i test it, but it wont go in multiplayer...?? any reason to this Del man?

mmmgh did you saved the map into Maps folder? did you saved it as DM-...? like: DM-NameOfTheMap(.run)?

ya i got that much....its just when i goto use it on the server it flashes "loading" for a second then goes back to the guys that are breaking the rock...lol

ugh nvm, i figured it out.... somehow the entire level was deleted... o well, i didnt like the lvl too much...now ill go make another...

You may have tried this, but one thing I remember u have to do is find something like "serverpackeages" in some .ini somehwere. u have to add the mapname there, otherwise it cannot be used as a multiplayer thingy. I remember where i heard that now - when I dl'ed the quarterstaff, the readme had instructions for using it in multiplayer. If you don't alredy know this, then u can either dl the staff and follow it's directions, or maybe u can find it somewheres on the big'ol net.

a good tip to solve those problems if maps that are loading jump back to the title with the rock:
start your server with a map like 1on1arena that works for sure and open the map with open mapname or switchcooplevel...
if the map has any problem you get then a error message like
failed to load package... or package version missmatch startpoint is missing and and and
there can be some reasons why a map sometimes dont work
and this is the easiest way to find its error...
