Only I could see this black hole with a burning ring on a pillar in BBA Vulcandrum (i was admin). It wasn't summoned or nothin'. Has anyone seen this kinda thing before? Is it a portal to some other world like in that movie Polterguiest? www.sig-x.com/x/flipper/Burning-Hole-In-BBA-Vulcan.php

I've done that before. I had 1.01 when I did it, but I don't know if it works on 1.07(which i have now). What ya do is summon up a whole buncha heads. or severed limb... or whatever u got around that bleeds. If you'll notice, when a head lies on the ground or is thrown against a wall it makes a blood splat. Summoning a bunch of heads drops them on the ground. If u summon them all in the same place, it begins to multiply the splat, and it gets darker and darker in the middle untill the center is black, and the edges look like a "ring of fire." It's really neat - i agree- and it would roxxor alot... if you could put it an the skybox.
see what ya can do.

I think someone got plastered with a battleaxe against the pillar in question, so the many-pieces-of-flesh-hitting-one-spot thing seems to be the case here. You can see a chunk of someone near the circle. I was hoping it was a mysterious portal....lol.......no really! I'm going back to try it again hehe. Or maybe I should go do the dishes.

Uhm.. i got news on this strange phenomena...
You can summon the head thing, but it goes away (it's just a bloodsplat). also u can use the "summon bloodsplat" to get the black hole. it stays there, but it's a square. seems as if the decal is not the same when seperately summmoned. although something just occured to me. BloodSplat2 is really small when i summoned it, but (and i can't quite remember clearly) I think it was round, liek the ones the heads leave. So, try summoning a bunch of bloodsplat2's and changing the drawscale. (don't get yer hopes up, it's probly square like the first "bloodsplat")

Ok, a new development. Same map, VnB server this time with Sorrow as a my witness ...lol. He messes me up, and then there I am with my head in the ground, upside down. I've never seen that before. That's one freaky map.

Geez we need to submit this stuff to Unsolved Mysteries
Oh and by the way it's not "bloodsplat" it's "bloodspot" - easily confused. And no luck with bloodpsot2 it's the small red splat, but instead of the ring o fire effect bing confied to a small area of corners lik with bloodspot, bloodspot2 is the same square, just with a tiny splat. So we still don't get a ring of fire. what you do get is like a blacklight filter - really neat but bogs the game down as you have to summon about 20 or so to get the effect.

I dunno if you can summon them and set them bstatic true, or change their actorstate to something like auogbaouby so they don't disappear (like you can do to weapons). but whatever, try the bstatic one, it might work...

Ok, here's something I forgot to mention: the pillars and walls etc. in this map are the type that if you throw a weapon at it, it stays, like, sticks in the surface....you know what I mean? So maybe this has something to do with this stuff. Maybe. I dunno. What do I know...

Ah yes! that makes sense!!!!
If a limb were trhrown qat one of these "sticky" sufaces, I guess it would try to make the limb stick to the surface, and maybe since it desn't stuick, all that effort makes it bounce back and forth,.... or...er...something... ah well. Somewhere in there I think that the sticky walls must be it. I'll try it in an arena or something sometime.
