but I can't host servers... and thats like deathly on demo, cause we have like 5 servers aweek and one server thats good
so what should I do to allow ppl to see my server? I turned DMZ on to the computer I host with (192.168.0.100) but they still can't see it.
I also upg my firmware, and lowered my MTU to 1400
.... any suggestions?I'm lookin at you del, the devine keeper of the holy book of router information

hey sainty, Do you know fa sure that peeps can't join ya server? I got my router working with rune by adding the 5 port numbers in my router preferences somewhere. butt... I thought I couldn't serve still, but it turned out that I just can't see my own server in the lists, everyone else can though, coz peeps can join fine. I don't know what that DMZ thing is about, I simply told my router to let the Rune ports through in the router prefs. It tells you the 5 or so ports on this Runegame.com post, you only have to put in the ones that sound relevant. www.runegame.com/vbf/showthread.php?s=&threadid=22351

Did you add those port number to da "Ports Forwarding" bit in your router prefs? I remember what I did now, add the numbers to the "ports Forwarding" bit. Try adding most of the numbers from that page I linked.
